Rho Zeta Omega is a 2010 Census Partner

The Rho Zeta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. announces its partnership with Census 2010. 2010 Census Partners are government, non-profit, corporate or community organizations that have formally pledged their commitment to share the 2010 Census message and mobilize their constituents in support of the Census Bureau's goal of achieving a complete count.
It is important that EVERYONE is counted. The U.S. Census counts every resident in the United States, and is required by the Constitution to take place every 10 years.

The 2010 Census will help communities receive over $400 billion in federal funds each year for things like:

*Hospitals
*Job training centers
*Schools
*Senior centers
*Bridges, tunnels and other-public works projects
*Emergency services

The data collected by the census also help determine the number of seats each state has in the U.S. House of Representatives.
